Hi, I’m Kim! I’m a fiction writer who writes stories about identity, growth, and the human connection. Here you’ll find reflections on writing, creative work, and the inspiration I see in everyday life.

When I’m not writing or working on paid media campaigns, I’m usually practicing ballet, volunteering in my community, or grabbing a breakfast taco at one of my favorite spots around town.

I’ve always gravitated toward NA coming-of-age stories. The kind of stories that linger in the quiet moments of growth. Connecting with others through my work brings me so much joy!

Some of my favorite authors are Meg Cabot, Matt Haig, Jessica Clare, Emily Henry and, of course, Jane Austen.

Marketer

By day, I work as a marketing manager specializing in paid media. I have over 10 years of experience developing paid media strategy and helping brands connect with audiences.

Working in the marketing industry has taught me that the strongest stories are the ones that make people feel seen. It’s something that I carry with me into every piece of fiction I write.

Austinite

I’m a native Texan and I’ve called Austin my home for over 10 years. Some of my favorite things to do: bounce around different vintage shops, stroll the shelves at BookPeople, and catch a live show at Moody.
